This compensation includes remuneration for his full year of service, considering his role as the company’s Global Head for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) from April 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023, and CEO and Managing Director from June 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
TCS has witnessed a 10.8% increase in the median remuneration of its employees in FY24. The average annual salary increment for TCS employees in India ranges between 5.5% and 8%. The company’s annual report indicates that top performers have received a double-digit increment.
In comparison, TCS’s former CEO, Rajesh Gopinathan, received a remuneration of ₹29.16 crore for FY23, while Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director N Ganapathy Subramaniam earned ₹26.18 crore in FY24.
