This phone shares a lineage with the Camon 30 Premier, which received praise for its innovative camera technology. The Camon 30S Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, a 6nm platform anticipated to deliver a 7% performance boost compared to its predecessor. It features 8GB of RAM, expandable to 16GB virtually, and comes with a generous 256GB of storage. While the phone lacks full 5G support, it incorporates Carrier-Aggregate 2.0 technology enabling download speeds of up to 300Mbps, which Tecno refers to as 4.5G. This compromise on 5G might be a dealbreaker for some, but it likely contributes to the phone’s affordability.
