Tejashwi Yadav Slams PM Modi for Divisive Politics, Urges Focus on Real Issues

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Monday criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for resorting to divisive politics and ignoring the real issues of the people in the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.

Yadav accused the Prime Minister of focusing on religious structures and similar issues instead of addressing pressing concerns like unemployment and poverty.

“It is unbecoming of a Prime Minister to only talk about temples and mosques, and Hindu-Muslim issues. All citizens, especially the majority population, are troubled by unemployment and poverty. Our soldiers are troubled by the Agniveer scheme. Why isn’t he addressing these matters?” said Yadav.

Yadav’s criticism comes in response to PM Modi’s recent remarks in Rajasthan, where he labeled the Congress mindset as ‘urban naxal’. Modi had also referred to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s comments from 2006, stating that Muslims have the first right on the country’s assets.

Yadav appealed to Modi to abandon politics of hatred and focus on substantial matters like poverty, inflation, and unemployment, emphasizing that these are the common targets that unite all citizens.
