According to reports, Praneeth had traveled to Canada to pursue higher education. On his birthday, he decided to celebrate with his friends at a lake in Toronto. While enjoying his birthday celebration, Praneeth jumped into the lake for a swim, tragically leading to his drowning.
Videos have emerged showing Praneeth jumping into the lake and also taking a selfie with his friends on a motorboat before the incident. The incident has deeply saddened the family and friends of the deceased.
Praneeth’s father has appealed to the Indian government for swift action in bringing his son’s body back to India. The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the drowning and are working closely with Praneeth’s family to facilitate the repatriation of his remains.
