A tempo traveller carrying nearly 17 passengers fell into a deep gorge near Badrinath Highway in Rudraparayag, Uttarakhand, on Saturday. The State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and police personnel rushed to the accident site and initiated a rescue operation.
Two injured passengers were immediately sent to the hospital, while the rescue efforts continue for the remaining passengers. The SDRF shared a video on social media showing the aftermath of the accident.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and further details are awaited as the rescue operation progresses.
