Tennis Legends Maria Sharapova and Bryan Brothers to be Inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame

The world of tennis will celebrate the induction of two iconic figures into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2025. Five-time Grand Slam singles champion Maria Sharapova and the legendary doubles team, the Bryan Brothers, will be enshrined in Newport, Rhode Island, joining an elite group of 267 inductees from 28 countries.

Maria Sharapova, known for her powerful groundstrokes and fierce competitive spirit, etched her name in tennis history as one of only ten women to achieve a career Grand Slam. Her five major titles, including two French Open crowns, cemented her status as a dominant force on the WTA Tour. She also held the world’s No. 1 ranking for a total of 21 weeks throughout her career.

Meanwhile, Bob and Mike Bryan, collectively known as the Bryan Brothers, redefined doubles tennis. With their impeccable teamwork, exceptional athleticism, and mastery of the net, they dominated the doubles circuit, securing a remarkable 16 Grand Slam titles. They remain the most successful doubles team in ATP Tour history, holding the record for most weeks at No. 1 in the doubles world rankings – an impressive 438 weeks.
