Tesco has unveiled eight new limited edition sandwiches as part of its lunchtime meal deal, inspired by global holiday destinations. These sandwiches will be available for £3.90 for non-Clubcard holders and £3.40 for Clubcard holders. The new sandwiches include the Tesco Summer Edition Smokehouse Pulled Pork & BBQ Bean Sub, Greek Style Chicken Gyros Wrap, and the Japanese Style Yuzu Chicken Sandwich.
The sandwiches are inspired by popular flavors from around the world, such as the Mediterranean and Japan. The Premium Meal Deal, which costs £5.50 for non-Clubcard holders and £5.00 for Clubcard holders, will also feature the Tesco Finest Summer Edition Argentinian Chimichurri Sandwich and the Indian Style Miso Masala Chicken Wrap.
The new sandwiches are available now at Tesco stores nationwide. The sandwiches are part of Tesco’s celebration of British Sandwich Week, which takes place this year from May 20th to 26th. Tesco is also offering a variety of other promotions and discounts on sandwiches during British Sandwich Week.
Tesco’s sandwich creator, Sarah Bryer, said: ‘As it’s British Sandwich Week, it’s the perfect time to try something new and switch up your usual meal deal combo. ‘Like many of our customers, I love trying new and different flavors and cuisines when I go abroad, which inspired us to create 8 new options to try as part of the Tesco Meal Deal.
‘My personal recommendations are the Miso Masala Wrap because I love the taste of vibrant Indian spices and the mix of miso and masala, and the Pork Char Sui Wrap which has a great sweet and salty contrast with just a hint of spice.’
Tesco shoppers can also take advantage of a variety of other promotions and discounts on sandwiches during British Sandwich Week. For example, Tesco is offering a free sandwich with any purchase of a meal deal. Tesco is also offering a variety of other discounts on sandwiches, such as 2 for £3 on selected sandwiches and wraps.
