Get ready for a Tesla takeover at the Paris Motor Show! After a long absence, the electric vehicle giant is set to return to the event, held from October 14th to 20th at the Porte de Versailles. This year, Tesla will be showcasing a star-studded lineup, including the highly anticipated Cybertruck, along with the Model S, 3, X, and Y.
For those unfamiliar, the Cybertruck, launched in November 2023, has been making waves with its futuristic design and long waitlist. While it’s not yet available to drive in France, its appearance at the auto show is sure to be a major talking point.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Tesla plans to highlight its Tesla Energy segment, showcasing solutions like solar roofs and Powerwall energy storage systems. And for a glimpse into the future, the Optimus humanoid robot will also be making an appearance.
Though Tesla CEO Elon Musk is not expected to attend in person, he might be featured in a virtual presentation.
Tesla’s presence at the Paris Motor Show adds to an already packed month for the electric vehicle company. On October 10th, Tesla will host its Robotaxi Day, focusing on its autonomous driving technology. They’ll also be releasing third-quarter vehicle production and delivery figures at the beginning of October, followed by their third-quarter financial results later in the month.
It’s been a long time since Tesla last graced the Paris Motor Show, back in 2018 when they presented the Model 3. Since then, the company has grown significantly, expanding its portfolio of electric vehicles and venturing into new territories like humanoid robotics and energy solutions. The Paris Motor Show will offer a chance to see just how far Tesla has come and glimpse into their future plans.
