Thai Vietjet Air and Hahnair Strengthen Partnership with Interline Agreement
Thai Vietjet Air has entered into a strategic partnership with Hahnair, a leading global provider of interline and codeshare solutions. This collaboration aims to enhance Thai Vietjet Air’s distribution strategy and expand accessibility to its flights.
Under the terms of the agreement, Thai Vietjet Air’s flights will be ticketed under the H1 code in major Global Distribution Systems (GDSs). Additionally, the airline’s flights will be available under its own VZ code in the Amadeus GDS. This seamless integration streamlines the reservation and ticketing process for travel agents and ensures reliability through the HR-169 ticket, which includes insolvency protection.
The collaboration with Hahnair marks a significant step in Thai Vietjet Air’s efforts to enhance its indirect distribution channels and facilitate smoother booking processes for passengers and travel agents alike. With its comprehensive route network and commitment to cost-effective travel, Thai Vietjet Air continues to solidify its position as a leading low-cost carrier in the region.
