Thailand Unveils ‘Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End’ Concept at TTM+ 2024

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) showcased its latest marketing concept, ‘Amazing Thailand: Your Stories Never End,’ at the Thailand Product Update during the Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2024. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, stated that the new concept emphasizes the promotion of meaningful travel experiences in Thailand, encouraging travelers to become storytellers and share their unforgettable memories.

TAT presented this concept, highlighting Thailand’s diverse tourism offerings designed to create meaningful and unforgettable travel experiences. These offerings include luxury, wellness, soft adventure, and sustainable tourism.

Luxury Travel

In Phuket and Phang-Nga, travelers can elevate their vacation with stays at luxurious pool villas, treehouse villas, or even a private island. They can embark on a culinary journey featuring everything from authentic local specialties to Michelin-starred restaurants. Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai offer a luxurious journey through nature and culture, with experiences such as traveling on a pontoon along the Mekong River, staying in luxury tented camps or boutique hotels, exploring Lanna heritage at temples, and relaxing at award-winning spas.

Wellness Travel

Thailand offers a range of health and wellness retreats. La Vita Sana in Khao Lak, Phang-Nga, and RAKxa Wellness & Medical Retreat in Samut Prakan provide integrative wellness programs. THANN Wellness Destination in Ayutthaya combines traditional Thai massage and herbal remedies with modern spa treatments.

Soft Adventure Travel

TAT guarantees high-quality and sustainable products and services through its initiatives. Wareerak Hot Spring and Wellness in Krabi, Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya in Chon Buri, and Mekin Farm in Khon Kaen have all received awards and certifications for their sustainable practices.

World-Class Event Hub

Thailand is positioning itself as a center for world-class events, hosting various upcoming global events. These include Summer Sonic Bangkok, OR Thailand Grand Prix (MotoGP), Loi Krathong Festival, Vijit Chao Phraya 2024, and Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2024.

Thailand’s Tourism Situation

In 2023, Thailand recorded over 28 million international arrivals, generating 1.2 trillion Baht in revenue. The top five markets were Malaysia, China, South Korea, India, and Russia. From January to May 2024, Thailand welcomed over 14.76 million international arrivals, generating more than 682 billion Baht in revenue. The top five markets remain China, Malaysia, Russia, India, and South Korea. TAT has set a tourism revenue target of 3 trillion Baht for 2024, aiming for 1.92 trillion Baht from 35 million international arrivals and 1.08 trillion Baht from 200 million domestic trips.
