Thailand Unveils TAT Connex: A Platform to Power Influencer Marketing in Tourism

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is harnessing the power of digital transformation and influencer marketing to propel the country’s tourism industry forward. The latest initiative, ‘TAT Connex,’ is a cutting-edge platform designed to revolutionize digital tourism promotion. Launched earlier this month, TAT Connex is accessible via an Android and iOS app, allowing both businesses and influencers to register and connect.

The platform opens doors for a diverse range of individuals and organizations, including local and international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, bloggers, media professionals, and celebrities. They can connect with a wide array of tourism-related businesses, encompassing restaurants, hotels, transportation services, recreational activities, tourist attractions, travel agencies, health and beauty services, department stores, shopping centers, venues for meetings and entertainment, as well as souvenir and specialty shops.

TAT Connex goes beyond simple connection, enabling real-time campaign monitoring and data analysis through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (formerly Twitter). This feature allows businesses to collaborate with influencers in specific markets to enhance brand visibility and engage with potential customers.

The official launch of TAT Connex was accompanied by a knowledge-sharing panel discussion focusing on the transformative power of influencer marketing in the tourism sector.
