To stimulate tourism and boost the influx of foreign visitors, the Thai Cabinet has approved a measure to waive visa requirements for citizens of 93 countries. This decision builds upon the existing visa-free status enjoyed by 57 nations, extending their stay from 30 days to 60 days. Moreover, 13 countries previously granted 30-day visa-free status will now benefit from a 60-day extension. Additionally, six new countries have been added to the visa-waiver list, allowing their citizens to stay for 60 days. For 17 additional nations, visa-on-arrival privileges have been introduced, enabling them to obtain a 60-day visa upon arrival in Thailand.
