This ambitious undertaking promises to enhance the shopping experience for both loyal customers and new visitors, solidifying its position as the heart of Henderson’s vibrant lifestyle scene.
Modernizing the Look and Feel
The renovation is already underway and will be completed by early 2025. The project kicks off with a dramatic exterior refresh, incorporating a modern color scheme of white, gray, and black. This new aesthetic will highlight key features like the main entrance, storefronts, and communal areas, creating a more inviting and contemporary atmosphere. The project will also introduce updated signage and lighting, enhancing wayfinding and improving the overall customer experience from arrival to departure.
Enhancing the Shopping Experience
Beyond the visual upgrades, The District is also making strategic additions to its retail mix. New tenants like Fox Restaurant Concepts’ Flower Child (opening November 12) and North Italia (opening November 13) promise to add exciting new culinary experiences. The arrival of California-based eatery Urth Caffé (opening by the end of November) further expands the diverse dining options available at The District. The expansion of the property by 14,300 square feet on the north side will accommodate these new additions, bringing the center to 95% occupancy. New furnishings, including stylish and comfortable outdoor dining and patio furniture, umbrellas, and more, will be introduced, providing shoppers with ample opportunities to relax and enjoy all that The District has to offer.

Visitors can look forward to ongoing public events like weekly farmers markets on Thursdays, Fit4Mom Stroller Stride classes every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9 am, and monthly markets featuring Makers Hive Market and Market in The Alley. The District will also host various charity events to support the Las Vegas community, including The Giving Machine and the American Red Cross Blood Drive this December.
