Pleasure Beach, one of the UK’s most popular seaside amusement parks, is gearing up for an exciting summer with the introduction of three new rides. Visitors will soon have the chance to experience the thrilling Polar Express circular ride, designed to resemble actual train cars. Younger guests will delight in the carousel-like Race-O-Rama, while adventurers can conquer the 52ft Ghost Ship’s pendulum swings.
In addition to these new attractions, Pleasure Beach is home to a classic wooden rollercoaster, one of only two remaining in the UK. This iconic ride, dating back to 1931, still features a seated operator controlling the brakes. The park also boasts the kid-friendly Big Apple Coaster, previously located at Alton Towers.
For refreshments, guests can indulge in sweet treats at Leo’s Ice Cream Parlour or Carousel Candy, or savor hot meals like burgers, hot dogs, and chips at the Food Court. Adults can unwind at the Pirate Ship, a fully licensed pub offering beers and spirits.
Ticket prices start from £21 for unlimited rides all day, with concessions for children under seven. Evening admissions are available for £15, and children under three enter free. Alternatively, visitors can opt for a Fun Card for £5, which can be topped up with ride credits.
Pleasure Beach has reopened for the season, with weekend tickets currently available. The park will extend its hours during the May bank holiday week and operate daily throughout July and August.
