## Tiffany & Co. Pledges $1 Million to Protect Our Oceans with ‘Love For Our Oceans’ Initiative

Tiffany & Co., a brand deeply inspired by the captivating beauty of the ocean, is taking a significant step forward in its commitment to environmental stewardship. The luxury jeweler has announced the launch of its ‘Love For Our Oceans’ initiative, a powerful pledge to donate $1 million to The Nature Conservancy, a renowned international conservation organization.

This generous contribution will directly support The Nature Conservancy’s ambitious goal of protecting 4 billion acres of ocean by 2030. The ‘Love For Our Oceans’ initiative aims to make a tangible impact on the health and preservation of our global oceans, ensuring their future for generations to come.

Tiffany & Co.’s dedication to ocean conservation extends far beyond this latest initiative. Since 2007, the company has partnered with The Nature Conservancy through the Tiffany & Co. Foundation, donating over $2 million and raising an additional $6.5 million to safeguard critical ecosystems around the globe. The deep connection between Tiffany & Co. and the ocean, a constant source of inspiration for its designs, serves as a powerful reminder of the brand’s unwavering commitment to protecting nature’s wonders.

Anthony Ledru, President and CEO of Tiffany & Co., emphasizes the importance of this commitment, stating, “As a global luxury brand, it is our responsibility and longstanding commitment, dating back nearly 25 years, to protect our planet. Through both corporate and foundation giving, Tiffany & Co. has made significant progress in marine conservation. The ‘Love For Our Oceans’ initiative marks a new chapter in our continued efforts to safeguard our oceans, reflecting our deep appreciation for the natural beauty and resources that inspire us.”

The Tiffany & Co. Foundation, established in 2000, has been a driving force in global ocean conservation efforts. Its impactful initiatives have included:

* Distributing over $38 million to 44 organizations across 30 countries, from Hawaii to the Caribbean, Australia, and the Coral Triangle, in support of the UN Biodiversity goals to protect 30% of the global ocean by 2030.
* Funding the establishment and expansion of over 13 million square kilometers of marine protected areas, an area larger than the United States.
* Supporting the landmark ’50 Reefs’ research project, identifying the world’s most resilient and critical coral reefs in need of conservation and restoration efforts.
* Backing the promotion of the Emmy and Sundance Film Festival-winning documentary ‘Chasing Coral.’

Jennifer Morris, CEO of The Nature Conservancy, highlights the collaborative nature of this partnership, saying, “For over a decade, Tiffany & Co. and The Nature Conservancy have worked together to protect nature, from coral reefs in the Caribbean to salmon runs in Alaska. The ‘Love For Our Oceans’ initiative represents a new chapter in our partnership, driving us toward our goal of protecting 4 billion acres of essential marine habitat, roughly 10% of the global ocean.”

Tiffany & Co.’s ‘Love For Our Oceans’ initiative embodies a commitment to creating a sustainable future for the ocean. By supporting impactful conservation projects and raising awareness, the brand is not only preserving the beauty of the ocean but also inspiring others to act as stewards of the planet. This initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration and a clear message that the future of our oceans depends on collective action.
