Titans Begin New Era With Draft Picks and Offseason Changes

After finishing with a 6-11 record and missing the playoffs for a second consecutive season, the Tennessee Titans are looking to turn things around in 2023. The Titans have a new era underway in Tennessee with former Bengals offensive coordinator Todd Downing taking over as the team’s head coach. Malik Willis, a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is expected to be the team’s starting quarterback after the departure of Ryan Tannehill. Ran Carthon will be entering his second NFL Draft as the Titans’ general manager. Earlier this year, he was given the additional title of executive vice president. The Titans have the 7th overall pick in this year’s draft, their first top-10 pick since 2015 when they selected wide receiver Corey Davis at No. 5. Tennessee does not have a third-round pick in this year’s draft. The Titans traded their third-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for moving up and selecting Will Levis with the 33rd overall pick. The Titans’ 2023 NFL Draft picks are as follows: Round 1: No. 7 Round 2: No. 38 Round 4: No. 106 Round 5: No. 146 (from MIN through PHI) Round 6: No. 182 (from TEN through PHI) Round 7: No. 242 (from PHI) Round 7: No. 252 (from KC) Coverage of the latest NFL news is available all year round from Pro Football Talk on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. For the full slate of NFL Draft content from across NBC Sports, visit NBCSports.com/NFL and the NBC Sports app.
