Hollywood icon Tom Cruise was among the star-studded guests at David Beckham’s wife, Victoria’s, 50th birthday celebration on Saturday night. While Cruise reportedly entertained guests with a dance floor performance, his appearance brought to light an ongoing feud between him and Mark Wahlberg.
In 2013, Wahlberg criticized Cruise for equating acting to military service, sparking a public spat. The altercation reemerged online following Cruise’s attendance at the Beckham party. However, Wahlberg later clarified that he had no issue with Cruise and the comments were a result of a misunderstanding.
Meanwhile, David Beckham is embroiled in a legal battle with Wahlberg over a fitness brand deal. Beckham alleges he lost £8.5million due to Wahlberg’s company withholding stock promises until after share prices dropped. In response, Wahlberg and the company deny any wrongdoing and claim Beckham is blaming others for his losses.
