Speculations had suggested that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra might make her Lok Sabha debut from Amethi or Raebareli, both considered Gandhi strongholds. The constituency will go to polls in the fifth phase of general elections on May 20.

Titan, a jewellery and watch maker, posted a net profit of 786 crore, a 7% YoY rise from the year-ago period’s 734 crore. The company declared a dividend of 11 per share of 1 each.

Pro-Palestine protests have erupted across multiple countries this week. Over 2,000 individuals have been arrested during campus demonstrations in the US in the past two weeks. The protests have spread to Canada and Mexico, with many urging their governments to sever diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv. Similar demonstrations are also taking place on college campuses throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
