Tori Spelling, 50, recently had a candid conversation with fellow “Beverly Hills, 90210” co-star Shannen Doherty, 53, on her podcast, “misSpelling.” Spelling reflected on her teenage romance with Brian Austin Green, 50, who played her love interest on the show.
Tori revealed that she and Brian dated while their characters, Donna Martin and David Silver, were also dating on the show. She shared that they even wrote their own vows for the wedding episode, which seemed to blur the lines between reel and real life.
Despite the relationship ending, Spelling emphasized that she and Green remain close to this day. “You know how close Brian and I are. I tell him everything. We’re brother and sister and best friend so close. We can have that connection,” she said.
Spelling also praised Green’s fiancée, Sharna Burgess, and expressed her appreciation for Green’s support during her recent split from Dean McDermott. “He’s been so great and such a champion. At times he gives me such inspiring words of you can do it professionally and personally,” she shared.
Spelling also revealed that she confides in Brian regarding her love life and relationships, despite their past romantic involvement. “Recently, we were talking about my situation and being in love and being crushed, being hurt, and moving on and now being single and the next chapter in my life,” she explained.
