Tourism Seychelles is actively participating in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from May 6th to May 9th, 2024, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE. This prestigious event annually attracts over 28,000 key buyers and industry professionals and has been a pivotal part of the travel sector for more than 30 years.
The Seychelles delegation is led by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Mr. Sylvestre Radegonde, and includes Principal Secretary for Tourism, Mrs. Sherin Francis, Director General for Destination Marketing, Bernadette Willemin, and Tourism Seychelles’ Middle East representative, Mr. Ahmed Fathallah. Also present is Seychelles’ Ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Ambassador Gervais Moumou, alongside local trade representatives from 7 South, Berjaya Resorts Seychelles, Eden Bleu Hotel, Luxe Voyage Holidays, Luxury Travel, Masons Travel, Ocean Blue Travel, Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa/ Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel, and Summer Rain Tours.
Director General for Destination Marketing, Mrs. Willemin, expressed enthusiasm about the prospects at ATM, stating, “We have an exciting few days ahead. The ATM offers a unique platform for networking and staying abreast of the latest industry trends. Our focus is on reinforcing our presence in the Middle Eastern market and maintaining Seychelles as a top vacation destination.”
Tourism Seychelles aims to connect with top industry figures during the event, promoting the islands’ captivating charm. The UAE remains a key market for Seychelles, with over 5,300 visitors from the region recorded by April 28th, 2024.
