Get ready for some traffic adjustments in Greater Noida! The UP International Trade Show is set to take place at the India Expo Mart from September 25th to 29th, and to ensure smooth traffic flow, the Noida Traffic Police has issued a comprehensive advisory. The event, which will be inaugurated by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, is expected to attract a large number of visitors and participants, making traffic management a priority.
The traffic restrictions will be in effect from September 24th, lasting for five days, until the conclusion of the trade show. DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad has outlined the key changes, urging commuters to take note and plan their journeys accordingly.
Road Closures and Restrictions
One of the major changes is the restriction on goods vehicles accessing the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and surrounding routes. From 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, these vehicles will be prohibited from using these roads, except for those carrying essential items such as milk, fruits, vegetables, and medical supplies. These essential goods vehicles will need to adhere to specific no-entry instructions, ensuring smooth flow of essential services.
Alternative Routes
To minimize disruption to commuters, alternative routes and diversions will be put in place. The traffic police have provided detailed information on these alternate routes, ensuring that travelers can still reach their destinations without encountering major delays. It’s important to check these routes and plan your journey in advance to avoid any inconvenience.
The UP International Trade Show is a significant event expected to attract visitors and businesses from across the country and beyond. The traffic advisory is a necessary measure to ensure the safety and convenience of all road users. It’s important to stay informed about these restrictions and utilize the available alternative routes to make your journey through the Noida region as smooth as possible.
