Traffic Advisory in Delhi Today
The Delhi Police has issued a special traffic advisory effective from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM today, May 11, 2024, due to special traffic arrangements. Commuters are advised to avoid or bypass specific roads and junctions, including the following:
* Entire Kalka Das Marg
* Aurobindo Marg from T.B. Hospital to MCD Park Roundabout Qutab Minar
* Internal Roads around SDM Office Mehrauli, Police Station Mehrauli
* Anuvrat Marg from T.B. Hospital to Andheria Mor
Commuters are requested to cooperate with the traffic authorities and make maximum use of public transport, especially Metro services, to minimize disruption during this period. Additionally, travelers are advised to allow ample time for their journeys if using the affected roads.
Arvind Kejriwal to Visit Hanuman Temple, Hold Roadshow
In other news, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to visit a Hanuman Temple and hold a roadshow in South Delhi today. The Chief Minister, who recently spent over 50 days in Tihar Jail in an excise policy case, is now out on bail. He has promised to actively participate in the election campaign but will not be able to attend his office as Chief Minister during this period.
