Three individuals tragically lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries in a collision between two motorcycles on the Lucknow-Bangarmau road in Hasanganj Kotwali area. The accident occurred near Akbarpur village.
The victims, identified as Harshvardhan Singh (20) from Hasnapur, Vimlesh Gautam (20) from Sherpur, and Rajkumar (25) from Lucknow, were immediately transported to the Hasanganj Community health centre. However, they were pronounced dead upon arrival, according to SHO Chandrakant Mishra.
Sachin, one of the injured individuals hailing from Shairpur police station in Hasanganj, received initial treatment at the health centre before being transferred to the Trauma Centre of King George Medical University in Lucknow for further care. The other injured person, Vikas Saini alias Bunty from Hasnapur police station in Hasanganj, was taken by his family to a private hospital in Mohan. After receiving first aid, he was subsequently discharged, as stated by SHO Mishra.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem, SHO Mishra added.
