A shocking mass shooting has occurred in Oklahoma City, leaving five people dead, including the suspect. According to local police, the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Jonathon Candy, fatally shot his 39-year-old wife, Lindsay, and their three children: 18-year-old Dylan, 14-year-old Ethan, and 12-year-old Lucas. The first responders arrived at the home near Yukon at approximately 9:35am on Monday after receiving a call. Tragically, all five victims were found deceased inside the residence.
Authorities have labeled the incident as a suicide murder, as the suspect took his own life after killing his family. The investigation remains ongoing, and police have yet to disclose a potential motive for the horrific act. Master Sgt Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department emphasized the violent nature of the deaths, stating that it was not a case of carbon monoxide or fentanyl poisoning.
