Tragic Road Accidents Claim Lives in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Pune

In a tragic turn of events, a string of road accidents across India has claimed multiple lives and left others severely injured.

On May 29th, a speeding BMW rammed into a bike on the Zirakpur Patiala Highway in Punjab’s Mohali. The impact of the collision trapped the bike between a parked truck and the car, leaving the three riders critically injured. One of the victims, identified as Sahib, succumbed to his injuries, while the other two, Sumit and Rajveer Singh, remain in critical condition at JP Hospital.

Meanwhile, in Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district, two individuals lost their lives in a collision involving a Toyota Fortuner SUV and a motorcycle. The accident occurred near Baikunth Degree College on the Colonelganj-Huzoorpur road as the convoy of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Karan Bhushan Singh passed by. Although the police seized the car, they have not mentioned Singh’s name in the initial report and are investigating his presence in the Fortuner during the crash.

Tragically, on May 19th, two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh, Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia, lost their lives in an accident in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar. The details of this incident are still emerging, but it is a stark reminder of the tragic toll that road accidents can have on individuals and families.
