Transport Minister Questions Modi’s Motives for Campaigning in Vemulawada

Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has taken a swipe at BJP MP Bandi Sanjay, questioning his confidence in winning the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat if Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to campaign in Vemulawada. Prabhakar, who is campaigning for Congress candidate Velichala Rajender Rao, asserted that Modi’s visit to Vemulawada was not motivated by faith in Raja Rajeshwara Swamy, but rather by a desire for votes. He pointed out that if Modi had any genuine religious devotion, he would have donated money to the temple or announced funds for its development. Prabhakar highlighted the fact that Modi had allocated ₹5,000 crore for Uttara Kashi but had neglected Dakshina Kashi, which further fueled his skepticism about Modi’s motives for campaigning in Vemulawada.
