In a bombshell revelation just weeks before the 2024 US elections, former model Stacey Williams has accused former President Donald Trump of sexual assault. Williams claims that Trump groped her at his Manhattan skyscraper, Trump Tower, back in 1992. The alleged incident, she says, occurred after she was introduced to Trump by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Williams, a professional model during the 1990s, told The Guardian that she met Trump at a Christmas party in 1992. It was Epstein, she claims, who introduced her to Trump. She also revealed that she and Epstein had a brief, casual relationship, a fact that she believes led to the alleged assault. “It became very clear then that he and Donald were really, really good friends and spent a lot of time together,” Williams said.
Williams alleges that several months later, in 1993, Epstein suggested that she and Williams visit Trump at Trump Tower. Upon arriving, she says, Trump greeted her, pulled her toward him, and began groping her. “He put his hands all over my breasts” as well as her waist and buttocks, she claimed. Williams says she was “deeply confused” by the situation and froze. She also claims to have seen Trump and Epstein smiling at each other during the incident.
The former model also revealed that Trump sent her agent a postcard later in 1993. The postcard featured an aerial view of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Palm Beach residence and resort, and included a handwritten message from Trump: “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love Donald”.
Williams further detailed that after she and Epstein left Trump Tower, she felt Epstein becoming enraged with her. “Jeffrey and I left and he didn’t look at me or speak to me and I felt this seething rage around me, and when we got down to the sidewalk, he looked at me and just berated me, and said why did you do that?” she stated. “He made me feel so disgusting and I remember being so utterly confused.”
Williams said that she was left feeling “shame and disgust,” and that she felt the memory of the incident was like a “piece of meat” being revisited.
Trump’s campaign has denied the allegations vehemently. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a statement calling the accusation a “fake story” and a “contrived” attempt by the Harris campaign. Trump himself has yet to comment on the allegations.
These accusations add to the growing list of sexual assault allegations against Trump. Last year, a jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing the columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996. Carroll was awarded $5 million in damages. This latest allegation, coming just two weeks before the US election, is likely to further fuel the heated political climate surrounding the race for the White House.
