Trump Allegedly Promised Pardons to Valet Implicated in FBI Investigation

Notes from an FBI interview with a witness, identified as ‘Person 16’, have revealed that Anthony Nauta, a former valet for Donald Trump, was allegedly promised a pardon if he was charged with lying to the FBI. The promise was reportedly made on the condition that Trump won a second term in 2024.

The witness, who worked in the Trump White House, claimed that Nauta was informed by ‘FPOTUS’ people that the investigation into his conduct was ‘politically motivated’ and ‘much ado about nothing.’ It was also alleged that Nauta was told that even if he faced charges of lying to the FBI, Trump would pardon him in 2024.

The witness, who declined to have the interview recorded out of fear of reprisal, also recounted a conversation with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in November 2021. The witness urged Trump to return any remaining classified documents to the National Archives, warning him that ‘they will indict you’ if he did not.

The FBI subsequently recovered classified material from Mar-a-Lago in August 2022. Both Trump and Nauta have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them, and their attorneys have not commented on the allegations.
