Trump Blames Biden and Harris for Pennsylvania Rally Assassination Attempt

In a recent interview with Dr. Phil McGraw, former US President Donald Trump, who is running for the Republican nomination in the upcoming presidential election, placed the blame for an assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally squarely on the shoulders of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump asserted that the lack of adequate security detail at the event was a direct consequence of their actions.

During the interview on Tuesday, August 27th, Trump stated, “People would ask, whose fault is it? I think to a certain extent it’s Biden’s fault and [Vice President Kamala] Harris’s fault.” He went on to claim that the Biden administration was actively working against him, using the Department of Justice (DOJ) to pursue him politically and neglecting his safety in the process.

“Look, they were weaponizing government against me. They brought in the whole DOJ to try and get me. They weren’t too interested in my health and safety,” Trump asserted. He further claimed that his security team constantly requested additional security personnel and Secret Service agents, but their requests were denied. “Our people were always fighting to get more security, more Secret Service, and he knew that we didn’t have enough,” Trump added.
