Trump Blames Biden for Anti-Israel Protests at Columbia, NYU

Former President Donald Trump has denounced President Joe Biden for the ongoing anti-Israel protests at several US universities, including Columbia and New York University. Trump made the accusations on Tuesday, April 23, while arriving at a Manhattan court for the second week of his hush money trial.

‘What’s transpiring at the college level … Columbia, NYU, and others is a disgrace. And it is squarely on Biden,’ Trump declared outside the courtroom. ‘He’s using the wrong words. He doesn’t grasp who he’s supporting. And it’s a shambles. If this were me, they’d be after me, they’d be after me so much, but they’re trying to give him a pass. What’s happening is a disgrace to our country. And it’s all Biden’s fault, and everyone knows it. He has no message, he has no compassion, and he has no idea what he’s doing,’ Trump added, branding Biden the ‘worst president in the history of our country.’

Trump also alleged that Biden is ‘no friend of Israel’ nor the ‘Arab world.’ ‘It all commences with Joe Biden. The signals he emits are so damaging. And I can tell you he’s no advocate of Israel, that’s for sure. And he’s no ally of the Arab world either,’ Trump said. ‘He attempts to adopt a middle ground. And frequently that doesn’t succeed, but it certainly isn’t functioning here. But what he’s done to Israel is forsake them, and he’s making every effort to be as pleasant as possible to the other side,’ he elaborated.

The White House and Biden have previously denounced the protests. ‘I condemn the antisemitic protests. That’s why I have established a program to address that. I also condemn those who don’t comprehend what’s happening with the Palestinians,’ Biden told journalists on Monday, April 22, as reported by Fox News.
