Trump Says He Opposes Restrictions on Birth Control, Contraceptives

Former President Donald Trump has stated that he will never advocate for birth control restrictions or the banning of contraceptives. This came in response to a question posed during an interview with KDKA, a local Pittsburgh station, regarding his stance on contraception. Trump’s comments were in response to accusations from Biden campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika that Trump aimed to restrict access to birth control and emergency contraceptives if he were elected.

Trump emphasized his support for states’ rights regarding abortion, as long as there are exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. He also affirmed his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF).

A recent Fox News Poll indicates that the issue of abortion is a significant concern among various demographic groups, including self-described Democrats, suburban women, self-described very liberals, Black voters, those with a college degree, and voters under the age of 30.
