Trump Says He Won’t Run in 2028 If He Loses in November

In a recent interview, former President Donald Trump declared that he would not seek the presidency again in 2028 if he loses the upcoming election in November. Trump, who is currently facing off against Vice President Kamala Harris, made these comments during an interview with Sinclair Broadcast Group’s “Full Measure.”

The 2024 Presidential election is proving to be a tight race, with polls indicating that the candidates are neck-and-neck in key battleground states. While the economy remains the top concern for voters, with 39% citing it as their most pressing issue, abortion and immigration are also significant concerns.

Trump, 78, is currently on his third run for president, having previously defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016 and lost to President Biden in 2020. The race is shaping up to be a close one, with early voting and absentee balloting already underway in a growing number of states.

During his interview with “Full Measure,” Trump also discussed his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, claiming he did “an amazing job.” He further emphasized his achievements in rebuilding the military and eliminating ISIS.

When asked about his health regimen, Trump revealed that he tries to eat properly, despite admitting to enjoying hamburgers and soda. He humorously pointed out that those who lectured him about his diet have since passed away, while he remains healthy.

With the election less than two months away, the race for the White House continues to heat up. It remains to be seen whether Trump’s decision to potentially step away from politics in 2028 will have an impact on the upcoming election.
