Trump Towers Expand to India: Six New Projects to Boost Luxury Real Estate Market

The Trump Organization is making a bold move in the Indian luxury real estate market, with plans to launch six new Trump Tower projects across the country. This expansion, announced by Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers and real estate partner of the Trump Organization in India, will push India to the top spot for Trump Towers globally, surpassing even the United States.

The upcoming projects are slated to launch between March and June next year, adding one Trump Tower each in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Noida. This will bring India’s total number of Trump Towers to ten, solidifying the brand’s presence in the country.

Mehta, who has a long-standing connection to the Trump family, attributed his partnership with the Trump Organization to a shared mentor at the Wharton School of Finance. The friendship led to a business partnership, with Tribeca Developers acting as the co-developer for the upcoming projects. Each tower will be developed in collaboration with local developers, with Tribeca overseeing design, product specifications, and customer handling.

Mehta highlighted the strong demand for luxury real estate in India, citing the significant price appreciation in the Gurugram Trump Tower project. Prices per square foot have doubled over the past three years, from ₹ 15,500-16,000 to ₹ 33,000. Full-unit prices have also experienced a similar surge, rising from ₹ 6-11 crore to ₹ 11-24 crore.

The upcoming launches are expected to be a major draw for high-net-worth individuals seeking premium properties. Adding to the excitement, Mehta hinted at potential expansion beyond India, with discussions underway for a Trump-branded hotel project in a neighboring island nation. While details remain under wraps, the news further underscores the Trump Organization’s growing ambitions in the Asian market.

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump are scheduled to visit India early next year to officially launch the new projects, underscoring the Trump Organization’s commitment to the Indian market. Their presence is expected to attract significant media attention and further solidify the brand’s position in the country’s luxury real estate sector.
