The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced that effective May 1, 2024, the TSA PreCheck lanes at Bradley International Airport will be relocated from their current position at the primary security checkpoint to the secondary TSA screening checkpoint. This strategic move will provide dedicated screening lanes solely for TSA PreCheck participants and those with combined TSA PreCheck and CLEAR memberships.
Regular travelers without TSA PreCheck will continue to utilize the standard TSA screening lanes at the primary TSA screening checkpoint, which has been expanded with additional lanes to accommodate increased passenger traffic. CLEAR services will remain available at both security checkpoints, offering expedited screening options for members.
This adjustment is part of ongoing efforts to streamline the TSA screening process, enhance efficiency, and provide a more convenient travel experience for all passengers. Bradley International Airport Executive Director Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E., expressed appreciation for the collaboration with TSA and CLEAR in making this improvement possible.
As always, travelers are advised to arrive at the main terminal with ample time to complete airline check-in and necessary TSA security screening.
