Turkish Airlines Expands Network, Launches Daily Flights to Turin

Turkish Airlines, recognized for its vast flight network spanning more countries than any other airline, has expanded its reach once again. On July 10, 2024, the airline commenced daily flights between Istanbul and Turin, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion. The inaugural flight was celebrated at Turin Airport with a ceremony attended by Turkish Airlines executives and prominent members of the Piedmont community. This new route bolsters Turkish Airlines’ presence in Italy, elevating Turin to the ninth Italian city served by the airline and the 349th destination in its worldwide network. The Istanbul-Turin route grants passengers direct access to Istanbul, a city renowned for its rich history and bustling business environment. Moreover, travelers can seamlessly connect to destinations across six continents through Turkish Airlines’ acclaimed global network. Commenting on the new flights, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated, “We are pleased to add Turin to our expansive flight network as our 349th destination. By strengthening our ties with Italy with our ninth presence, our guests in Italy’s northwest will be able to enjoy our flag carrier’s unparalleled flight network during their travels, while our passengers from around the world will have the opportunity to experience the wonders of Turin, Italy’s first historical capital city, with the privilege of flying with Turkish Airlines.” Elisabetta Oliveri, Chairman of Torino Airport, shared, “We celebrate with great satisfaction the start of this flight, which opens up new growth prospects for Turin Airport, after two consecutive years in which a traffic record was set.
