The inaugural event, held at the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel on May 17th, celebrated this significant milestone for T’way Air. The Zagreb to Seoul flight operates three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Departing from Zagreb International Airport at 9:25 PM, it arrives at Seoul Incheon International Airport at 3:25 PM local time the following day, with a flight duration of approximately 11 hours. The return flight leaves Seoul (Incheon) at 11:05 AM, making a stop for refueling at Manas International Airport in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, before arriving in Zagreb at 7:55 PM. The total travel time, including the refueling stop, is around 15 hours and 50 minutes. T’way Air deploys an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 347 seats, including 12 Business Saver seats, for this route. Passengers in both classes receive complimentary in-flight meals twice during the journey. Expressing excitement about the inaugural European destination, Hong-Geun Jeong, CEO of T’way Air, stated, “This new service offers travelers an affordable and convenient option, and we believe this route will boost Croatia’s tourism industry and enhance the exchange between our two countries.” T’way Air, listed on the Korea Exchange (KRX) since 2018, operates across destinations in Japan, China, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Australia. The introduction of the Airbus A330-300 enabled the airline to launch its first long-haul route between Seoul (Incheon) and Sydney in 2022.
