Twin Infants Brutally Murdered in Heartbreaking Case

Authorities in Texas have arrested the parents of six-week-old twin infants who were brutally murdered in their own home. Angelina Belinda Calderon and Fernando Vega, both 21 years old, have been charged with causing serious bodily injury to a child and are being held on a $750,000 bond. The horrific discovery was made on October 4th, when police were called to a property in Linden Creek Way after the twins were found unresponsive. Upon investigation, it was determined that the infants had suffered multiple injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, including severe malnutrition.

An autopsy conducted by Dr. Jesus Rico of the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science revealed that one of the children had several injuries, including dehydration and contusions on various parts of the body. Both twins were malnourished, and one showed evidence of acute brain bleeding, while the other suffered hemorrhaging of the brain and spinal cord, indicative of recent trauma.

Calderon and Vega are the prime suspects in the deaths of their infants, and their next court appearances are scheduled for May 29th and Friday, respectively. The case has shocked the community and raised concerns about the prevalence of child abuse and the need for increased protection measures for vulnerable infants.
