Two Arrested in Campbellford Assault Incident
On Wednesday morning, two 18-year-old men from Campbellford, Ontario, were arrested following an altercation involving a weapon. The incident occurred at a Ranney Street address at approximately 10:20 a.m., prompting the response of emergency crews.
Emergency crews responded to the scene following a report of two individuals fighting. Upon arrival, they discovered that a weapon had been involved in the altercation. Both individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
The investigation conducted by the Northumberland OPP led to the arrest of the two men. One of them was charged with assault, while the other was charged with assault with a weapon. Both individuals were released and are scheduled to appear in court in Cobourg at a future date.
