Nestled amidst the upscale Americana luxury that has subtly defined the Hamptons for over a century, the new TWP store in Sag Harbor feels as though it has always been a part of the landscape. Founded in 2021 by Trish Wescoat Pound, the classic sportswear brand was born from her desire to create the perfect button-down. With a cult following that includes former Theory CEO Andrew Rosen and Moda Operandi, TWP’s cropped ‘Next Ex’ shirt has become an It item among the New York style set.
Driven by the alignment between TWP’s aesthetic and the Hamptons’ relaxed yet elevated ambiance, Wescoat Pound was drawn to Sag Harbor’s historic charm and small-town atmosphere. The white clapboard 18th-century home that houses the store provides a residential feel, featuring a series of intimate rooms and a private garden. The interiors, designed by Jenny Dyer, wife of Rosen, maintain this residential aesthetic, while rotating art exhibitions and natural materials like seagrass and textured woods add a touch of sophistication.
The clothing collection at the Sag Harbor store embodies the essence of TWP, featuring the signature ‘Next Ex’ shirt in a range of classic colors, along with cotton linen puddle pants, cashmere sweaters in shades of white, gray, and navy, and impeccably tailored trousers. Wescoat Pound’s goal is to empower women with a capsule wardrobe that exudes effortless elegance, perfectly suited for the Hamptons’ understated luxury and casual yet refined lifestyle.
