Harris County, the largest county in Texas and third largest in the nation, is leading the way in sustainability through its Climate Action Plan, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030. The County has achieved remarkable progress, implementing energy-efficient measures that have resulted in projected savings and utility bill credits.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to increasing its urban tree canopy. In partnership with TXU Energy and the Texas Trees Foundation, the city has launched a plan to plant hundreds of trees across the city, utilizing a leading-edge contract with TXU Energy that provides funding for tree planting and green space enhancement.

Mission 911, a non-profit organization providing resources to families in need, has partnered with TXU Energy for over a decade to support families struggling with bill payments.
