U.S. Stocks Mixed, Compass Minerals Leads Gains

Several other companies experienced notable gains on Tuesday. Talkspace, Inc. (TALK) saw its stock price increase by 20.9% to $2.31 after the company revealed a strategic partnership with Amazon Health Services. This collaboration aims to enhance the visibility and accessibility of Talkspace’s mental health services.

Gannett Co., Inc. (GCI) witnessed a 14.5% rise in its stock price to $5.28, driven by an upgrade from Citigroup. The investment bank raised its rating from Sell to Neutral, indicating a more optimistic outlook for the company.

Another noteworthy gainer was Gevo, Inc. (GEVO), whose stock price surged 14% to $1.5740. Gevo announced on Monday that it had secured a U.S. Patent for its Ethanol to Olefins (ETO) process. This patent solidifies Gevo’s position as a leader in the development of bio-based renewable fuel and chemical production technologies.

Ginkgo Bioworks Holdings, Inc. (DNA) also experienced a significant jump, with its stock price increasing 12.7% to $7.03. The company launched new Protein LLM and Model API built on Google Cloud Technology, showcasing its commitment to innovation in the field of bioengineering.

Other stocks recording substantial gains included Designer Brands Inc. (DBI), GDS Holdings Limited (GDS), Teladoc Health, Inc. (TDOC), Definitive Healthcare Corp. (DH), Li Auto Inc. (LI), Dime Community Bancshares, Inc. (DCOM), Torrid Holdings Inc. (CURV), Sleep Number Corporation (SNBR), Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP), LivaNova PLC (LIVN), Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE), and Airbnb, Inc. (ABNB).

These gains were driven by a combination of positive company news, analyst upgrades, new partnerships, and other favorable developments.
