UFC President Dana White has confirmed that UFC 304 will take place on Saturday, July 27th, at Co-op Live in Manchester, the UK’s largest indoor arena. This highly anticipated event marks the UFC’s first-ever sporting event at the venue and the organization’s highly anticipated comeback to Manchester.
White expressed his excitement about returning to Manchester, stating, ‘I’m so excited to get back to Manchester. And no better time than this summer.’ He highlighted the presence of two UK champions and the enthusiastic fan base, emphasizing, ‘We have two champions from the UK and fans have been dying for a UFC PPV event. So here we come to the largest indoor arena in the UK. See you soon, England!’
In March, White pledged to bring a pay-per-view event to the UK this year. Speaking about the event, he said, ‘I have an English heavyweight champion and lots of other European stars, but two champs now out of England. We’re going to England, we’re coming! I’ve got great fights lined up for the UK fans, and I’m excited to get back there.’
