UGC NET June 2024 Admit Card to be Released Tonight, Says NTA Chairman
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the UGC NET admit card for the June 2024 session tonight, as per UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, who made the announcement on social media. The admit card will be available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The exam will be conducted on June 18 for 83 subjects in OMR-based mode. Candidates will need their login credentials to download the admit card, which will display their exam center, time, and other important details. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the hall ticket to the exam center on the day of the examination.
The UGC NET 2024 scores will be used for determining the eligibility of Indian citizens for the roles of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), as well as for PhD admissions in universities and colleges. The University Grants Commission has announced that PhD admissions via the NET will commence from the academic year 2024-25. Several institutions, including Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU), have declared their acceptance of NET scores for PhD admissions at their campuses.
