The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has announced the release of admit cards for the upcoming Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test (PMET). This test is a crucial part of the recruitment process for various positions, including Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence), Gulnayak (PAC/IRB), and Fire Fighting Officer. The positions were advertised earlier this year under notification number A-5/DR/S.I./E-5/2023-24, with 222 vacancies to be filled.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the previous stages of the selection process can now access their admit cards through the official UKPSC website, psc.uk.gov.in. The PMET is scheduled to take place from September 2nd to October 5th, 2024, across six centers in Uttarakhand. Over 100,000 candidates are expected to participate in the physical examination.
The UKPSC has provided a direct link on their website for candidates to easily download their admit cards. It is essential for candidates to carefully review the information on their admit card, including their allotted examination center, date, and time of the test. Candidates are advised to arrive at their designated centers well in advance to avoid any delays.
The PMET will assess candidates’ physical fitness and capabilities. The minimum height requirement for male candidates is 167 cm, with relaxations provided for candidates belonging to the SC category (160 cm) and those residing in hilly areas (162.6 cm). Female candidates must have a minimum height of 152 cm, with relaxations for SC candidates and those from hilly areas (147 cm).
Candidates are encouraged to ensure they have all necessary documents, including their admit card, valid photo identification, and any required certificates. They should also familiarize themselves with the physical standards and make the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and successful testing process.
