Addressing a public meeting in Amravati, Union Home Minister Amit Shah implored the electorate to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He asserted that a vote for the BJP represents a vote for ‘patriots,’ individuals committed to establishing a ‘Ram Rajya’ in the country. Shah extolled the virtues of a ‘Ram Rajya,’ emphasizing its potential to vanquish terrorism and Naxalism, while propelling India to the status of the world’s third-largest economy.
In stark contrast, Shah vehemently denounced those he characterized as ‘anti-nationals,’ accusing them of prioritizing dynastic politics over the nation’s interests. He excoriated the Congress party for its prolonged deferment of the Ram temple issue and lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for resolving the matter within five years of assuming office. Shah’s speech also included pointed criticisms of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for their perceived ‘insults’ against Lord Ram by abstaining from the Ayodhya Ram temple consecration ceremony despite receiving invitations.
