United Airlines is also expanding its European service next summer with daily flights from Washington/Dulles to Venice, Italy, beginning May 22. The airline will also resume service to Athens from Newark/New York on March 6, Venice on March 29, and Dubrovnik on May 1, with plans to increase these routes to daily service.

By next summer, United Airlines plans to operate a staggering 800 daily flights to 147 international locations, including 40 destinations not offered by any other US-based airline.
