In Dead Space, you’ll face hordes of terrifying creatures, including giant spiders. While fire is a great way to deal with them, there’s nothing quite like the Minigun.
To unlock the Minigun, you’ll need to complete the following steps:
1. Activate the cell door and clean 10 dirty objects scattered throughout the level.
2. Use the Pressure Washer to clean the dirty objects. You can find it in the utility hallway between the Bedroom Showroom and Model Home exhibit in the HEM Foods & Furniture store.
3. Once you’ve cleaned 10 objects, return to the cell door and open it.
4. Inside the cell, you’ll find the Minigun. Pick it up and equip it.
The Minigun is a powerful weapon, but it has some drawbacks. Its firing is slow to start, and it can lower your walking speed. However, you can alleviate these problems by upgrading the Minigun.
There are two upgrades available for the Minigun:

Increased Firing Rate:
This upgrade increases the Minigun’s firing rate.2.
Reduced Walking Speed Penalty:
