Intersectionality posits that various forms of social stratification, including race, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status, are intricately interconnected and create a unique set of challenges and experiences for individuals who possess multiple marginalized identities. This intersectional approach seeks to highlight the complexities of social inequality and the ways in which different forms of discrimination can compound and intersect, leading to unique forms of oppression and privilege.
