UP Police Constable Exam 2024: Important Guidelines for Candidates

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is gearing up to conduct the OMR-based written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of UP Constable. The exam is scheduled to take place on August 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st, 2024, at various centers across Uttar Pradesh. With the exam dates approaching, the UPPRPB has released a set of crucial guidelines for candidates to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

Admit Card and Arrival Timing:

Candidates must carry the Admit Card issued by the Board along with a valid Aadhaar Card or other forms of identification such as an e-Aadhaar, driving licence, or passport. It is mandatory to arrive at the examination center at least two hours before the commencement of the examination. This early arrival is especially crucial for those who have not mentioned their Aadhaar number in their application form, as their verification will need to be completed within the stipulated time. The entry gate at the examination center will close 30 minutes before the start of the examination, and no candidate will be allowed entry after this time.

Prohibited Items:

The UPPRPB has issued a strict list of prohibited items at the examination centers. These include:

* Any form of text material (printed or written)
* Pieces of paper
* Geometric-pencil boxes
* Plastic pouches
* Calculators of any kind
* Credit or debit cards
* Scales

* Black glasses
* Handbags
* Caps
* Open or packed food items
* Cigarettes, lighters, matchsticks
* Gutkha

Candidates found with any of these prohibited items during the examination will face appropriate legal action.

Security and Verification:

To ensure the integrity of the examination, the UPPRPB has implemented technical arrangements to identify any individual attempting to take the exam in place of a registered candidate. Strict legal action will be taken against such individuals and the candidates involved.

Important Reminders:

Candidates are advised to:

* Reach the examination center on time.
* Study all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully.

By adhering to these guidelines, candidates can ensure a smooth and fair examination experience and avoid any inconvenience or disqualification.
