The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is poised to release the provisional answer key for the highly anticipated UP Police Constable Exam 2024 this week. This announcement comes after the successful completion of the written exam, which was conducted in two phases across 1,174 locations in 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The first phase of the exam, held from August 23 to 25, saw a participation of approximately 28.91 lakh candidates. The second phase, conducted from August 30 to 31, witnessed a turnout of around 19.26 lakh candidates. The UPPRPB has confirmed that the provisional answer key will be made available on its official website, uppbpb.gov.in, shortly. Candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections against the answer key using their respective credentials.
The UPPRPB has not only announced the release of the provisional answer key but has also indicated that the cut-off list will be released alongside the final results. This list will be determined based on the marks scored by candidates in the exam, along with other relevant factors. It’s worth noting that over 31.38% of candidates were absent during the first phase of the exam, while approximately 31.72% did not appear on the first day.
